Business Continuity Management Supervisor

Key Accountabilities

  1. Business Continuity Management:
  • Review and Update BCP materials /documentations
  • Organize all evacuations tests’ prerequisites and preparations then perform tests
  • Coordinate all business continuity technical, BCP testing program and actively participate in testing scenarios
  • Register tests results and follow up findings’ redemption
  • Prepare all the Unit’s reports (Daily, Monthly Quarterly and Yearly) and participate in BRC preparation
  • Handle Internal-External auditors, ABK Group and Central bank requirements and plans
  • Prepare the consolidated staff list, Call tree and all communications channels.   
  • Develop and maintain training and awareness program and online sessions for all staff (Existing, Newcomers, Sales agents and Outsourcing)
  1. Documentations:
  • Fully aware of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) document, BCM Policy & Strategy
  • Keeping disaster recovery plan up to date by reporting and escalating any IT related incidents/ outages to the Head of BCMU
  • Coordinate with business lines to prepare & update their documents in BCP and BIA
  1. Analysis:
  • Participate in performing Risk Analysis & Business Impact Analysis (BIA) for functional areas to identify points of weakness, single points of failure, identify risk avoidance, mitigation strategies and preparing the required documents
  • Analysis and Review Vendors that support Critical processes to each business line to ensure that vendors have Active and tested Business Continuity plans
  • Apply BCM best market practices
  1. Relationship:
  • Work with Business Continuity Coordinators& Champions and Operational Risk to develop effective working relationships

Experience:

  • 3-7 years in Business Continuity Management or Banking Operations
