IFRS Reporting Senior Officer

Job purpose :   

 

  • Providing relevant information and recommendations through timely and accurate financial reporting.

 

Key accountabilities

 

  • Financial reporting:
  • Responsible for consolidated financial statements and detailed information analysis annually / quarterly in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and CBK regulation for the purpose of the group reporting.
  • Replacement with other for preparation of financial statements (Separate / consolidated) and detailed information analysis annually / quarterly in accordance with Central bank of Egypt regulation (CBE) and Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS).
  • Prepare detailed information analysis for business needs and decision maker.
  • Facilitate external audit procedures all over the bank departments to meet the due date to issue bank financial statements.
  • Translate bank financial statements (Separate / Consolidated) for business needs, parent company (ABK) and BOD.
  • Reconciliation the IFRS financial reporting package with financial planning reports to mitigate any variances not justify.

 

Monitoring and Controls:

 

  • Review overall branches GL’s transactions, fixed assets, intangible assets, depreciation and amortization.
  • Mapping and control of ATM’s report on monthly basis.
  • Mapping and control Fixed Assets items with Administration Dep.
  • Prepare Fixed Assets report to ABK in quarterly basis.
  • Prepare Fixed Assets report as per register data for insurance purpose.
  • Fixed Assets bookkeeping.
  • Review bank expenses and daily payment transactions.
  • Run monthly depreciation and amortization system calculations.
  • Solve Fixed Assets system errors on spot to mitigate any related issue.
  • Ongoing improvement of Fixed Assets register to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.

 

Experience:

 

•In-depth understanding of financial accounting               

•Minimum of 2  years, preferably in banking financial control
