IT Testing Manager

  • Challenge requirements: Review BRD and FDS for the assigned Changes/Projects and attend requirement meetings related to testing or new CRs, Attend system functional training and review/ challenge vendor test cases. 
  • Planning /Managing for Changes/Projects: Planning, deploying, and managing the testing effort for any task assigned to him and follow up to get all testing documentation related to new applications/CR with all team members.
  • Testing Strategy: Draft the related testing strategy documents for all assigned changes/Projects and share draft with IT Testing manager to be reviewed and signed.
  • Testing Plan: Creating/ finalizing the related testing plan with IT Testing manager for assigned changes/Projects included the expected delivery dates.
  • Testing Scenarios: Prepare initial testing scenarios sheet per change/Project and review with IT Testing manager, Study systems functional requirements during build test scenarios to validate the requirements.
  • Lead Business test cases preparation: Leads the development of a test case, test data, script build, schedules, and reports to ensure all testing requirements are met and documented.
  • Support Testing: Solve all problems facing business team member during testing cycle to assist them achieve the planned goals, like using testing tools, testing environment.
  • Track Testing Defects: Tracks and verifies any required corrections to defects and ensures completion and maintain the daily activity sheet for functional testing.
  • Performance Report: Provide the IT Testing manager with performance reports on Weekly basis.
  • INFOSEC/Audit Communication: Follow / comply with IT policies as well as Info Sec policies. Pass all internal and external audits related to his/ her activity
  • Delegation: Can be delegated by his direct manager to attend meetings related to testing or new CRs and revert back by meeting outcome.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline

Knowledge:

  • Execute the testing for some applications
  • Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance methodologies for formal Testing.
  • Knowledge of change control procedures,
  • Knowledge of System Development Lifecycle
  • DB knowledge is recommended Generic Skills
  • Business banking skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Planning organizing & integrating knowledge.
  • Excellent follow up skills

Experience

  • 10 years’ experience in functional testing
  • banking sector experience
  • Skilled communicator and presenter.
  • Good knowledge for banking systems
