Job Purpose

Support in the management of the stakeholders’ perception of ABK by working on effective CSR plans, media communications as well as manage Kuwait events and the strengthening of strategic relationships through sponsorships that are in line with ABK’s CSR strategy and policies and procedures.

Generic Accountabilities

1. Divisional Strategy Contribute to divisional strategy through aligning activities with divisional strategy and business plans.
2. Policy & Processes implement ABK and divisional policies, processes and structures.
3. Corporate Governance Ensure all divisional activities comply with corporate governance & regulatory or legal frameworks.
4. Risk Management Identify, manage, mitigate and report on risk and potential risk in divisional activities.
5. People Management Manage people in line with people policies and best practices.

Specific Accountabilities

1.    CSR & Corporate Comms Strategy  Develop and assess annual  CSR plan   as well as the implementations of the Corporate Comms Planand Seasonal Events Calendar 
2.    ABK Events: Ensure proper representation of ABK at events such as.branch inaugurations, exhibitions, sponsorship events
3.    ABK Events: Ensure proper planning and event management as well as promotional project plans that depend on departmental strategy/ business plans
4.    Market research & questionnaires Conduct market research and develop questionnaires to quantify the success of outcome of the CSR  campaigns , sponsorships and events with a view to ownership in the area of CSR strategic direction
5.    Sponsorships: Analyze CSR and other sponsorship requests and make a recommendation to support PR objectives.
6.    Report: Weekly updates on PR activities completed, planned and summary report after each sponsorship with post event analysis.
7.    Relationship Building Liaise with key contacts on ‘sponsorship’ requests and CSR initiatives.
8.    CSR Events: Coordinate all external PR activities relative to CSR Program along the contribution to SOV in the areas of responsibility.
9.    Non CSR Events: Lead all other local events not directly linked to CSR in line with corporate events calendar. 
10.    Communication Channels Interact with External Communication agencies for campaigns, promotions, alliances and press releases.
11.    TVC’s Management:  Manage the implementation and development alongside the Events Head, for allorporate and CSR collateral pertaining to In-House videography,  Social Media videography and website videography.
12.    Branding:  Assist AGM Corp. Comms in the recommendation of  gifts for Ramadan and internal events Policies and Procedures: Implement Corporate Comms procedures to ensure consistent and systematic application of ‘best practices’
 

Education

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Certification/Experience

Experience

•    Professional public relations and or marketing qualifications
•    Minimum of 7 years banking sector experience.
•    Experience in public relations duties.

Skills

Extensive knowledge of banking sector public relations theory and practice
Excellent Writing Skills 
Good presentation skills
