Job Purpose

Contribute to the success of the organization by actively engaging with users, designing and planning efficient processes, delivering effective solutions aligned with user requirements, managing seamless transitions in business processes, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring exceptional customer service quality to achieve high levels of satisfaction.

Generic Accountabilities

Compliance: Work fully within ABK’s Compliance regulations and standards.
Policies & Processes: Develop and implement relevant policies and procedures and conduct regular reviews to remain relevant and effective.
5. People Management Manage people in line with people policies and best practices.
Risk Management: Work alongside Risk Management in ensuring that the function works fully within the set frameworks, proactively monitor and report on risk exposure in order to enhance control effectiveness.
2. Corporate Governance and Compliance Work fully within risk policies and procedures and compliance regulations and ensure all divisional activities comply with corporate governance & regulatory/legal frameworks

Specific Accountabilities

•    Proactive Problem Identification: Engage regularly with business unit leaders to identify challenges and opportunities proactively.
•    Comprehensive Data Analysis: Conduct detailed data analysis across business units to gain comprehensive insights.
•    Advanced Data Analytics: Utilize SQL, MS Excel, and industry-accepted tools to perform diverse data analytics using statistical models.
•    Expertise in Business Translation: Translate business needs into design, developing tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for effective insights and data visualization.
•    Data Quality Monitoring: Develop and execute tools for monitoring and reporting on data quality, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
•    Data Quality Management: Establish principles for data quality management, including metadata, lineage, and business definitions.
•    Tech Support Collaboration: Provide support to tech teams in managing security mechanisms and data access governance.
•    Strategic Alignment: Align business requirements seamlessly with the overarching digital strategy of the organization.

Job Success Factors

Education

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Certification/Experience

Experience

•    Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in conducting comprehensive data analysis and interpreting complex datasets.
•    Proficient in processing and cleaning large volumes of data from diverse sources.
•    Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•    Strong aptitude for innovation, continuously exploring new data science approaches and methodologies.
•    Exceptional problem-solving skills, particularly in addressing business or research questions using data-driven approaches.
•    Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, especially within the information technology group.

Skills

•    Understanding of data collection processes, both traditional and innovative, and the ability to assess data accuracy.
•    Informed about the latest trends and advancements in the field of data science and analytics.
•    Strong skills in SQL for querying databases and managing digital data effectively.
•    Ability to create visually compelling and insightful dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
